General Intern The Royal African Society welcomes graduate students to apply for a 3 month internship unpaid position (with a possibility of extension) to start on the 4th June 2012. The work performed by interns is supervised and covers the range of RAS activity from membership services to the Africa All Party Parliamentary Group. Successful applicants can expect to gain experience extending from data inputting, filing, general office duties to events planning and website management/writing. Interns will also have access to RAS member and corporate member events such as the seminar programmes and events at Parliament. There is an initial trial period. Working hours are flexible, however we require a commitment of hours equal to two working days per week. Travel subsistence will be paid up to £10 a day.
